Connect is the small group ministry of First Baptist Hempstead. We believe that it is important for the body to meet regularly together to study the word of God, break bread, celebrate life, and build community. Our Connect groups meet throughout the week at different locations in homes and we would love to have you join us.
BIBLE READING PLAN
Through the First Baptist Hempstead Bible reading plan, you will read the Bible cover to cover over a period of 2 years. You will also read through the Psalms and Proverbs 4 times during that period. The reading plan was put together to help anyone who has felt overwhelmed with Bible reading in the past. Each daily reading takes approximately 10 minutes and will help you develop the discipline of studying God's word. more importantly, it will help you develop a passion for knowing God's word. STUDY QUESTIONS
The study questions are used in Connect groups as a guide to help facilitate discussion. They were not meant to be used as a rigorous system of questions for group Bible study. Feel free to follow meaningful discussions that move away from the study guide. Most importantly, we want to encourage people to be in the word and talking about what God is doing throughout scripture and how it applies to our daily lives.
